About Dawn

Dawn Davis

A SAG-Eligible Actor and Voiceover, Dawn was born and raised a Jersey Girl.  Growing up in the shadow of ‘the city’, not far from the bright lights of Broadway...those trips to the theatre district ignited her passion.

Dawn left the Garden State and entered the theatre community in Charlotte, NC, joining a local acting networking group, which led to roles in ‘Second City TV’-like sketches aired on local cable television with Manic Television Workshop.   Dawn also hosted infomercials and was cast in local television commercials while studying voiceover with Wayne Powers, and acting with Jordan Beswick, CSA.

Upon moving to Florida, Dawn immediately became involved with the FABActor group where she began networking with her new tribe.   Dawn honed her skills with roles in films at Full Sail Film School, the University of Central Florida and participated as a volunteer coordinator and actor for Orlando’s 24 Hour Film Festival and 48-hour Film Project. Participation in theatre continued with musical and theatrical productions at Helen Stairs Theatre and Art's Sake Studios annual 'Play de Luna'.

While in Florida, Dawn studied with with KVG Acting Studios, Arts-Sake Acting Studio and actor, Rus Blackwell. Now in Los Angeles, Dawn continues to work on her craft with Courtney Burr at Margie Haber Studios and John Sudol at John Sudol Acting Studios.

Dawn is currently represented by Daniel Hoff Agency, while continuing to move in the direction of her dreams.
